Homeowner SMS Opt-In Disclosure
Effective Date: July 1, 2026 · Last Updated: August 25, 2026
This page documents how In1Snap obtains informed consent from homeowners to receive SMS messages on behalf of contractors using the In1Snap platform. In1Snap provides AI-powered call answering services for home service contractors. Consent to send a follow-up SMS is a separate, explicit yes/no question the AI agent asks during the call — it is never inferred from the caller simply staying on the line.
Call Opening Disclosure
Every homeowner who calls a contractor's In1Snap number hears an automated notice before the assistant answers, and before any information is collected:
The assistant then greets the caller by the contractor's business name. This notice covers call recording. If a caller asks whether they are speaking with an AI, the assistant says plainly that it is. The notice is not, on its own, a request for SMS consent, and no SMS consent is inferred from it.
Demo calls placed from this website work differently: nothing is spoken, because the notice is given in writing on the request form before the call is placed. That path is documented below.
SMS Consent Script
Separately, before ending the call — whether or not an appointment is booked — the AI agent asks an explicit question and waits for a real answer:
The agent waits for the caller's actual answer — it is never assumed, generated, or defaulted to yes. If the caller's answer is unclear, the agent asks once more; if it is still unclear after that, the answer is recorded as no. A caller who says anything meaning “don't text me” — during this question, earlier, later, or unprompted — has that treated as a permanent opt-out, the same as replying STOP to a text message. Every one of these outcomes is written to a per-call consent record before any SMS is sent.
Only a caller who gives a clear, affirmative “yes” to this question receives a follow-up SMS. Message frequency and content are described below.
Second Consent Path: Demo Call Summary (Web Form)
Separately from the call-based consent above, a business owner evaluating In1Snap can request a demo call from our website. Consent is given by submitting that request form. The following notice appears directly above the submit button, in the body text of the form — not behind a link, not in a footer:
The person requesting the demo enters their own phone number and presses the button themselves; that submission is the affirmative act, taken with the notice above visible on the same screen. The message it authorizes is a single SMS, sent once after that specific call ends, containing a summary of what the AI captured on it. There is no sequence, no drip, and no further messaging on the basis of that submission — one request, one message.
Consent recorded this way is stored per request and checked server-side before the message is sent; a request that did not carry it results in no message at all. STOP and START are honored on this path exactly as described below, recorded against the same opt-out record used for all other messaging, and an opt-out is enforced before any future send regardless of what was agreed at request time.

Data & Privacy
In1Snap does not share mobile phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Phone numbers collected during a call are used solely to send transactional SMS messages on behalf of the contractor the homeowner contacted. For full details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
